Gilmartin Ley acted for Ealing Hammersmith & West London College in the purchase of this four storey detached student hostel with 50 rooms.  The building dates from 1951 and occupies a site of approximately 0.225 hectares (0.555 acres).

We advised our client on valuation matters and on how to craft its offer so it was the most attractive to the seller in what was a highly competitive bidding process.

Following the agreement in principle that our client was the preferred bidder, we advised on the terms of a complicated overage agreement in conjuction with our client's solicitors, Eversheds.

Ealing Hammersmith & West London College intends to use the property for its own purposes in the present use as student hostel accommodation.

The purchase completes in April 2013.
